Default Rogers and 64 update..

Please Login to Remove!

I presently have .51 and wondered if its worth moving up.. first I noticed I can't get it from Rogers..and secondly.. not sure that.64 is supported ?

One annoyance is that my Green LED stays lit solid time to time, and only way is to turn unit off and back on or disable /enable wireless option to reset the led to flash mode.

If it is supported and worth updateing on a Rogers phone.. and someone send it to me at [email address] or provide a link ..?

thanks in advance

Matt

Rogers hasn't release .64 yet but you can still load it onto your 8100. o2's latest OS is .64 and I think T-Mobile's latest OS is .64 also. Loading that onto your 8100 will solve the issue you're having. It fixed it on mine.

OK.. thx... downloaded the file and installed it.. now I also installed that blackberry.aix or whatever file as requested.. when I try to up date my pearl.. it only goes to the 8100-v4.2.0.51_P2.2.0.32 directory .. does not see the new directory.. and says there is nothing to update...??
how do I point it to the new .64 directory which I have confirmed is also there ?

thanks folks !!

Locate and delete VENDOR.XML on your PC C: drive.
