This issue has been discussed in other threads, but I'd like to get an idea of how many are impacted. Plus, if people have figured out a way to rid themselves of the noise, please share. Or maybe the noise gets to the point where it's deafening?? heheheh

Hmmm.. almost 50/50 so far. I wonder if all the ones that squeak are manufactured in Canada(like mine) and the quiet ones are from Mexico? Interesting..

I had a squeaky space key for about a week, and then it went away. Made in Canada. Typically Canadian response - makes a bit of noise for a short period of time and then remains silent ;)

I don't have the squeaky key syndrome but I wonder if those that do have their keyboard noise turned on. Even if its not, when dialing it does make a barely perceptible, key noise from the speaker. I could be off target but had to ask.

Mine squeak but I have big thumbs and when I push them they may be rubbing the adjacent key creating the squeak.

I have two keys that are driving me crazy. My phone is like 10 days old. Even when turned off, the power key (End key) makes a sound when i press it. it feels like something below the key is not stuck right. it is the same sound like the one you get when you peal a scotch tape off a surface and putting it back on and then pealing it off again. anyone with the same experience? Also, the Enter Key and the Back key have the same problem but less pronounced.

No squeaky keys here either. That must be annoying. Just spray some WD40 on it. That'll take care of it. j/k!
