I get no spam through GMail. At least nothing I haven't signed up for, anyway.

I think GMAIL has the best spam filters I have ever seen. Even spam that gets through our work filters (which are very good also) is caught by GMAIL. I get few false positives, and delivery is instant (I forward mail directly to GMAIL, then to my BB account )

I forward from Gmail to my bb account too. I love not having spam and having no delay at all with my emails.

The only thing that sucks is whenever I want to reply with a different account to blackberry´s, I have to use PDReplyAsNew, which is cool but my signature goes at the end of the quoted text and is a lot longer tu use rather the ! Key shortcut

Gmail spam is almost non-existent for me too, but the very occasional ad for a male-related issue does get through.

To be fair, my Spam folder in my GMail account just happened to be the first place I ever saw some various waves of Spam. It almost seems suspect that sometime in the earlier beta stages, something data-mined the addresses found in GMail and started compiling spamming lists of legit email addresses. Anyhow, that's just my opinion.

Yes....same here! Yesterday I went into my yahoo account after a few weeks of non use and had to delete so much spam. Hotmail isn't as bad, but spam still makes it through. On my gmail......nada. Every spam email got caught.

Yahoo let's some spam through. Gmail doesn't. Hotmail: last time I got hotmail, I created the account, went to bed, and in the morning had like 500 spam messages! I didn't even have a chance to give it out to anyone yet.

This thread has peaked my interest...

I use Gmail and it stops ALOT of spam but I still get 5-6 a day (note: 4 addresses get funneled into gmail). When I go into the gmail spam folder there is a ton that it stops but these still get thru.

What can I do to get to this 100% stoppage that you guys are getting? I mark every spam that gets thru as "spam" in gmail to teach it like you are supposed to. Is there something else I can do?

Thanks,
John

Thread Killer

It just works for me. I'm not forwarding any accounts though.

Here is a "sticky" from the top of the page to show you how to fix that:
