Capacity 1800mAh

With the battery door configuration, it creates that solid grip which is pretty good. I'm going to get one for myself!

With the Battery and Door that comes standard with your 8700g, it weighs 5.0 oz. With this extended battery and door, it increased to 5.6oz.

Not much of a difference but the feel of handling is really good. I'm not scared to accidentally slip my BB and drop it.

Hello, how do I go about purchasing this from you??? Also, how much thicker is the BB when the new batt and door are on??? can it still fit into other holsters besides the OEM plastic holster???

To purchase, please Private Message me for the link.

With the Extended Battery Door in place, it increased the thickness to a 0.5cm and about 0.6 oz in weight. Not much of a difference. And the door is perfect (meaning, not ugly?).

In regards to fitting into holsters, I can only say with the OEM Leather Holsters, no problem at all. But I can't say that for other brands because I never own anything that is not Original. But I guess as long as it has an elastic band on the side of whatever leather holster you have, it should not pose as a problem.

No it won't. The door configuration is different.

But don't worry, the 8703e extended battery and door are on order and arriving by the end of February.

Oh really?

Random question, but I'm panning to get housing for my phone off of eBay...housing for any 87xx device would fit on the 8703e correct? Or any other Blackberry 87xx...?

Question A question...

chinesecatt, would you be able to post a picture of the 8700g w/ extended battery door from the side, so we can see how much thickness the door adds?

I still haven't decided if I need the extended battery, but in case I do end up needing it at some point, knowing how much thicker it makes the would be useful info to have. Thanks!

I am not familiar with their exact configuration to be able to answer your question correctly. Might need to research on that one....

Cool, much obliged!

It definitely adds significantly more thickness than the extended battery and door for my old Nextel 7520 did. Which means a much larger if I end up needing the extended battery.

Anyway, thanks again, chinesecatt.
