Default ANYONE WITH KNOWLEDGE OF 7100i, HELP ME OUT PLEASE!!

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry 7100i. It is nextel (i guess) since when you turn it off, it says nextel. But it is configured for boost mobile prepaid. I use those re-boost cards for minutes.

Prepaid is not bad: I am not a big talker. I try to use the e-mail/browser. When I try to connect, it says "unable to connect to mobile service area". Do i have to be in one of those wi-fi hotspots to use internet? I have no idea how to use the internet on this blackberry. Right now i only use it for calling.

Before u ask me if I have this or that (did u download the software, what kind of connection, etc?) I have no idea. I wish I had the little manual. If u ask me to check if i have this or that, also direct me on how to get there.

Also, should I continue to use boost prepaid, or go into Sprint contract? Which is better/wiser decision? Does Sprint have prepaid?

Any help is appreciated. Help me use my blackberry well.

Second if your looking to do the BlackBerry thing on the cheap it's not going to happen, you need a BlackBerry Data Plan to get the full capabilities and offerings from the BlackBerry service. Kindly use the search feature for further information.

Boost Mobile does not offer Blackberry services of any kind. You either need a full Nextel data plan, or no Data.

AFAIK, no one is offering prepaid on a Blackberry.
