Question trackball = missed calls ?

Please Login to Remove!

i've read that several individuals have had problems with missed calls because the trackball moves (cannot be locked) while carrying it in bag, case or pocket etc. does Everybody have this problem with Every Pearl? and if not, how can it be avoided (besides reducing the sensitivity of the trackball). how do people carry these around and not miss calls? would a separate pocket in a shoulder bag which did allow for shifting of the unit while say running to catch a train be adequate? what how much of a problem is this really? thanks

I don't think I have ever had this problem...I'm using a leather case. I lock down my pearl right before I put it in to the case, by holding down the mute button. I do this every time..

I had this problem until I reduced my trackball sensitivity and then it went away completely. I know you wanted solutions beside that, but its still a good one

Folks...this is only a problem with old versions of the firmware. If you've updated your firmware, or have a Cingular Pearl, you won't have this issue. This is an old issue.
