Angry installing .alx / .cod files without desktop manager and cable

Please Login to Remove!

possible? apparently not? Can see why email on the BB does not recognize these file types and allow you to save them.

Also, I tried accessing them web, but does nothing.

Kinda weak and limiting if you ask

"Kinda weak and limiting if you ask"

No, we didn't ask.
The only thing that's "weak and limiting" is your complete lack of understanding of how things work.

If you need help with something, just ask for it.
Ranting about concepts that you don't understand is a pretty good way to alienate yourself from those willing to assist you.

If you want to install an app OTA, then you don't use .alx or .cod files at all. Those are used by Desktop Manager. OTA applications get installed using .jad files accessed by your broswer.

I know the .jad is for OTA.. it's not available .

My point is - it would be nice and logical, if files types we know the product is able to process, are recognize in email so that email is an option for sending them to device. I'm sure windows mobile 6.0 would have no problem with this.

Thanks.

Sounds like you could use a Windows Mobile 6.0 device then. Let us know how that works out.

Plain and simply it's not possible.
