Default how to uninstall themes?

Please Login to Remove!

I tried to search and maybe I missed something but once themes are installed, how do you go about uninstalling or removing them?
Thanks in advance.

1. Homescreen.
2. Click Options & Settings.
3. Click Applications
4. Find the installed them.
5. Hit options button.
6. Click remove, or uninstall theme.

Maybe there's an easier way that I'm not aware of.....

Thanks for the quick response King-B. Much appreciated. That looks to work for me. I guess that only works for apps/themes you yourself install. I guess the ones that come with the firmware cannot be removed? Just doing a cleanup that's all.
Thank you.

They can be removed but it's not as simple as removing the ones you install yourself. You have to install Desktop manager to your PC. Install the OS to your pc then remove the theme .cod's from the java directory where all the .cod's reside. However, you have to be careful because sometimes some themes rely on others installed in order to operate. If you have just a few themes installed that came preinstalled with your device then you're ok. If you unlocked ALL the vendor themes then it's sometimes a good idea to go back and remove the ones you don't use.

Thank you John for the information on how to remove the default themes. I only wanted the Vodafone theme but the .alx file moved all themes onto the Curve. Thanks again.

If you know the .cod's to remove you can simply go into the following folder and remove them (I suggest placing them into another folder in case you want to add one or two back.)

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8300-v4.2.2.89_P2.4.0.42\Java

The OS version number folder may differ slightly for your OS version. When you've removed them simply plug the device in and run through Application Loader. it will automatically add or remove them.

Thank you. I removed it without any problems with the Application Loader.
