I keep receiving the "uncaught exception: invalid text" error msg. on my 7250, 4.0, when trying to edit address book entries on my handheld. Please help. Thanks so much!

Run Application Loader to fix it.

if you start to get the error message again after running app loader and re-installing the OS, then one or more of your outlook contacts might be corrupt, you might have to troubleshoot outlook to find out which one is causing the BB to throw that exception.

same problem, tried to go in Application Loader and it tells me that my BlackBerry doesn't have any system application (or something like that), any idea?

ok, what a great thread so far.

y4nn1ck, you will need to download and install the latest version of the handheld operating system (Not desktop manager) for you device. It is available from your carrier. Once you install it, you can go into Applications Loader, where it will most likely try to upgrade the handheld.

I'M getting this error when i try to edit contacts who have letters in phone/fax number field
Example: 418-123-4567 ex:123

If i remove the letters from phone number, im able to edit the contact.

btw, it's on a Lotus Domino Server.

Phone number field can ONLY have numbers (and dashes...and maybe a couple other special characters...but NOT letters). Take out the letters from any phone number fields and it will work.
