Hey guys,

I searched for this one w/o success. For the IMAP settings for wirelessly activation in the BES configutration form can I put any imap server and any imap account? I created a specific imap account in my ISP and I set up in the BES. The problem is that when I test the IMAP login it will not connect. If I enter the account information in an email account I can access just fine with the same information. Any ideas?

Are you installing an application BES or are you enabling WiFi activations on your BES?

IMAP with BES.

From my understand to enable the users to activate remotely in our BES I must provide an IMAP account to BES. I was under the impression I could use any IMAP server even if it is outside the domain of our organization.

You're sorely mistaken; that is not the case. you'll need exchange or domino, or groupwise for BES.
