I try to add a friend who has a verizon bbery on messenger, but they have a w in their PIN. my bbery only puts '1' not w no matter what i do. i tried it on my old 7520 too and it's the same. what's up?

i cant even copy it correctly from another screen and paste it... it removes the w!

PIN Numbers are in hexidecimal, the only characters used are 0-9 and A-F.
Get them to send you a PIN Message so you can find the correct PIN.

Have your buddy check his pin again. There are no W's in Pins. Have him send you an email and have him type "mypin" (without quotes) and send it to you. When you type that on your BB it will spell out your pin using autotext.
