Default Gmail sent mail.. make it stop!!

Please Login to Remove!

I went into e-mail settings and set up my 8830 with three of my gmail accounts. They work great, except... every mail I send--whether from the 8830 or my actual gmail when sitting as a pc--comes to my blackberry as if I sent it to myself. I don't want copies of my sent messages, and I went into the box on the handheld and general settings and turned off return receipt and confirm send. they still show. what's up?! make it ssttooopppp

when setting up ur email, have it filter emails from the same address...
so if ur email is [email address], on the [email address] account, have it filter messages from the sender "asdfasdf@gmail.com"
hope that helps.

Is this a GMail issue or a BIS/RIM issue? Just wondering.

Gmail doesn't have folders -- so all mail just ends up in the same place, whether you received or sent it. Most other e-mail solutions have a separate sent folder, and I would imagine that RIM's design for BIS assumes this.

To me, it's just Google being weird about things, like their odd POP implementation. I would blame Gmail.
