So what happens with an 8GB SD card? It can't recognize it at all, or you just can't use all the space?

You should still be able to use it as long as it's formatted. Depends on what type of media you would like to d/l onto it. I know myself, I could easily fill the BB up with music alone.

Yeah, I use mine as my main mp3 player - no ipod. Have a 2gb card right now... waiting for local retailers to start carrying 8gb
