For the Curve, is there a way to silence the sound keys make when dialing a phone number? Just really only worried about it when it's in "Vibrate" or silenced.

Options > Screen Keyboard > Key Tone: Off

That will turn off the keypad when typing text....

I don't believe there is a way to silence the sound when you're dialing a phone number.

This has been brought up in other threads. The suggestions included always dialing out of the address book and a complicated copy and paste a number from a note to avoid the tones.

unfortunately on tmo, holding (1) to call voicemail will also cause the tone. annoying.

on a side note, has anyone checked VM while in wifi? does it ask you to type in you phone number and password? on tmo network, it knows my number so it just goto my VM. but on wifi, it acts as if i call to check vm on a land line...

Voicemail is usually in my call history or I can dial it from my address book. Also when I call Voicemail via UMA it logs me in without prompting for the passcode.
