Default Email Synching Issue

Please Login to Remove!

I have a couple of users who are having this issue and wonder if someone has seen this before. Basically the following events take place.

1. Email arrives in Outlook Inbox;
2. Open email, deal with it, then move it to the correct subfolder, which removes it from the Inbox;
3. Open Messages in Blackberry and delete the email referenced above;
4. Go back to Outlook and the email is now in Deleted Items.

How do I stop it from being removed from the subfolder to the Deleted Items?
The setting on the blackberry is to Delete on Handheld only. I'm stumped.

This is working correctly. When you delete on the BB it will also delete in Outlook. The best way to handle this is to sync the BB / Outlook after step 2 (make sure you have the option to hide filed items set to Yes). This should move it from the BB inbox.

from messages click menu options=>email reconciliation select whatever email change delete to 'prompt' and for on conflict make "mailbox wins"

now when you delete it prompt either mailbox & handheld or handheld only

hope this helps

thanks Kelvin. I thought that if the setting was set at "Delete on Handheld only" that it wouldn't remove it from Outlook no matter what took place. Is that not the case?
