Please Login to Remove!

I know 4.1.5 supports it but I'm not sure about earlier versions. You might search the BES Admin Forum and see what comes up over there.

Looks like the site is down again...I've been waiting to upgrade to 4.5 until the camera issues got worked out...Looks like I am going to be waiting a little bit longer.

Never mind....It took forever, but it finally connected!

Default OS 4.5 reboots when viewing pictures

I updated to version 4.5 this morning and It has done nothing but reboot on me all day. Then It was fine and I used it for 6 hours straight with no problems. Now I am trying to view my pictures on my media card and it reboots every time while loading the pics. Is this a problem with my media card? help!!!

Yes, it's a problem with your media card or a file on your media card. Try this:

No, you MUST use the OS designed and labeled for your model.

This OS in this thread is for the 8100.

Any notes of it killing the SIM card on T-MO devices? Or was that just the .37 version that was doing that?

If you use the link at the beginning of this thread called update services you will be taken to a site with multiple downloads available.
Scroll down and near the bottom of the page you will see the link for the 8100. Click on that and you should then be downloading the correct OS for the 8100.

8100 is no longer available via that link. I was able to download it from another source though.

I have Verizon 8130 and have tried to upgrade to new OS but when I open DM, nothing happens. I deleted the device.xml file. Am I missing something or is that Verizon sucks. If I can update, is the GPS unlocked. Verizon locked it so they only way you can use GPS is by paying $10 for their VZ Nav. Thanks!!!!!

Has anyone else ran in to this problem? Any fixes?

FYI - I installed this version on an AT&T branded 8310 (if that matters.)

Thanks'all!

You did not install the 8100 os right? if so you need to uninstall and choose the correct os as this is for the Pearl not the Curve.

cmjanus--this thread and this OS is ONLY for the 8100. Downloading this OS to your PC will NOT update an 8130.

See the post of mine five posts above yours.

8100 = 8100 OS
8130 = 8130 OS

8130 xxx8800; 8100 OS

Also, updating the OS to another vendor SO will NOT unlock the GPS on Verizon.

Please tell me I didn't just brick my son's phone.

I was in the middle of upgrading, it had erased everything and reached the stage where it was installing the new software. All of a sudden my computer literally went completely wacko on me. It started opening window, after window after window. I couldn't get it to stop and it finally just completely locked up. I had no choice but to manually shut it down and restart.

Now, when I connect the phone to my laptop, it does not recognize that anything is connected. The pearl's screen is stuck on a page that says "Blackberry Platform 2.7.0.68 and then has a list of all the apps. If you try to click any of them you either get an error loading it or an uncaught exception. I tried a battery pull and still get the same thing.

Any suggestions, please!
