My wife and I are looking at BBs. What is the easiest way for two users to share a common calendar? Specifically, if my wife wanted to add an appointment (wirelessly via her BB) to a common calendar, would I be able to see this too without synching to a PC via a USB? Is this possible? What hardware and software would I need? Thanks for any help!!!

Sorry, there is no shared calendar support. Hopefully it will be added in future releases.

Hi! Not sure if this would work but I thought I'd throw the idea out there anyway and see. If you subscribe to a hosted exchange server you can have wireless sync capability with outlook/contacts/calenders, etc. You and your wife may need to both sign up under separate accounts but i think you'd be able "share" calenders, invite the other to an appt. etc. I tried Exchange My Mail and so I remember seeing options of looking up contacts in the global address locator, the option to invite them to an appointment i created, etc. Could the hosted exchange service grant/create permissions for a couple to share calendars and stuff? Just a thought... may not work but just thought i'd throw it out there.

You can't technically share Exchange accounts. But what you can do is sync to the same Outlook calendar via a combination of methods. One of you can sync wirelessly to an Exchange account and the other can sync with a cable to a desktop version of Outlook that's setup with the Exchange account. My wife and I did that for a long time before she switched to a Treo. Well, actually we still do but now that we're on different types of devices, we can both sync wirelessly.
