Yea, it's not there. Desktop manager yes. Handheld software no. Plenty of 4.1.0 though

But, if you can, prove me wrong.

Sorry, my mistake. It's actually 410351.... not 41351

The direct link to download 410351 is here:

The day I load up OS 4.2, the network goes down. I wasted the better part of an evening trying to figure out what I did wrong.

Otherwise, no issues. (8700g T-Mobile, BES)

I notice that too, but work around is click the wheel and use select mode.

Default Optus lastest 4.2 OS

I was hesitant as I just upgraded the otherday and figured there couldnt be much of a difference (and there wasnt), BUT I was happy to find:

1. My uncaught exception thqat I was getting when I played .mid ringtones has been fixed

2. I had about 2 more megs of memory (43 megs after a reboot)

But like others, I think the ringtones are lower in volume, as I missed a few calls today. Overall, Im very happy with the upgrade to 4.2.

All togeter with full backup and restore and Enterprise Activation, it took about 45 mins for the upgrade.

Well just tried with 4.2.1.66 the Telefonica build and it can not cut or paste in a text box, very sad. Using select mode is not really an option because you can't get into a text box in that mode.

Thanks for the verification. This seems to be a major bug in this OS. I cannot even get around this bug by using Opera Mini as it will not run on the latest Chinese OS 4.2.

vodafone today is not working my 8700c v4.2. I installed it but can't activate it. Is there anything special that need to be done to activate it?

This is how 4.2 seems to behave if you have Hide Filed Messages set and yet your filters are set to forward mail form a subfolder.

I simply can't believe it myself, but this is by design in 4.2 and there is nothing we can apparently do about it. See it in the RIM tech note here, this is what you are talking about, right:

BlackBerry Search Results

(Even though the note says Lotus Notes, it applies to Exchange all the same.)

I still can't believe this change! In essence, it will fundamentally change the way I use my Blackberry to keep my email organized and maybe even the way I use Outlook to manage my messages.

Well, that is a new one, with the Telefonica 4.2.1.66 build, I can use Opera Mini 3.0.6540. Which version are you using with the Optus 4.2.1.85 build. I guess I may hold off on updating 4.2.

I am running Optus 4.2.1.126 and installed Opera Mini 3.1. I have no option to install prior versions of Opera Mini via wap or desktop. If someone can point me to where I can download prior versions of Opera Mini, I would like to try them with this version of the Optus OS.
