Yes, I have v4.2.2 of Blackberry Attachment Service in my Applications list (Advanced Options -> Applications). And yes, I have removed the battery while the 8320 was on.

But no joy.

Any other thoughts??

I switched from an 8700g, also TMO. Basically moved the SIM over, got the email accounts configured, and was more or less of to the races but for this issue. FWIW, I used the email wizard on the device - it found my accounts immediately. And I re-sent the service books for good measure.

Is the issue with transfered messages or new ones?
Nothing you can do about transfered messages. New ones should work.

Do you have three modules listed underneath the Attachment service properties:

Yes, I have those three.

Per another post in another thread (which I started on another topic but meandered into this one)...apparently the issue has to do with something wonky b/t BIS 2.4 and the mac mail client, mail.app.

If an email with an attachment is sent from mail.app to a blackberry, the message will arrive at the BB w/o the attachment. BUT if the email is sent from a web based service, say gmail, with the same attachment, to the same blackberry, from the same mac, then the message AND the attachment get there. OY.

I've sent an email to RIM support, hoping that they're aware of this issue.

I work in a mac-heavy industry and needless to say this is a MAJOR issue.

PS - no, clicking "Send Windows Friendly Attachments" in mail.app does not change things

well you are on to something, my business is a Mac heavy environment, and I can think of two of the Mac users there emailing me from their Mac and the attachments not coming to the BB.
