Angry BIG PROBLEM, HELP ME:-x :-x 7105T

Please Login to Remove!

First of all I have a 7105T. I love the phone and all of its capabilites. Problem starts with me not able to use it properly. Let me explain. The problem I am having is the USB bay on the phone to recharge it. Everything else works fine its just the USB bay. I take the assumption over time of putting it in and putting it out of the bay to recharge it loosens the bay up. Well after loosening the bay up then one day when I took the charger out it took the whole bay out. It was a gap/hole in my phone where the bay was. I went to T-mobile store and because I was not paying 6.00 a month and $100.00 deductable I never had the insurance package. I went there they stated that it would cost me 300 dollars aka a new one in order to fix the situation. My problem is I didnt even pay that much for the copy I have now and I am not paying for another one. I had my best friend who is a cpu expert and he opened the phone and used soldering iron to put it together. It worked well for a bit but then even when I had the plug in it still would not charge and I would have to wiggle it and let it stay in one position in order to get it. Its really driving me up a wall and I dont know what to do without paying a arm and a leg. Can any of you users give me some advice?

I would try looking on ebay for a used unlocked 7105t in good condition. Be sure it doesn't have a corporate IT policy on it which will restrict some functions of the phone.

If your going to continue to use T-Mobile, an unlocked 7105t would not be required. It won't hurt, but not required. If your BlackBerry was less than 1 year old when you orginally had problems, it should have been covered by manufacture warrantry. But since you had your friend solder it yourself, that kills any chance of warranty replacement.
