Default Thanks for everything....I'm out.

I want to thank everyone on the forum for the insight and knowledge to help me along. Surprisingly, my company switched to t-mobile and handed me an SDA today to replace my blackberry. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet, but we will see. Thanks again, I'll pop in from time to time. Take care.

My wife works for a company that produces a pda phone (cannot say the name, but it is known by two initials and you all probably have one of their printers). They recently made everyone turn in their blackberries and switch to the company phone - understandable, but there are a lot of unhappy people there who have nobody to complain to. Hope you like your new PDA

Just wait until the reliability and security issues come to a boil. That's when when everything changes, sure did at the last company I worked for!

I have a buddy who works for Microsoft- employees have been chastised severly there for carrying any PDA that doesn't have the Windows OS ( meaning "ahem" blackberries) or using Google as a search engine.

Most huge companies do that. They want their employees to show their loyalty and belief in their product(s) of course.

I remember when I was a Case Design Engineer for a watch company, on my first day I was wearing my Rolex watch. Sure I caught everybody's attention. Never hired a female designer and their she was .. stirring trouble in "every" aspect. The good thing, I didn't have to buy any, they were eager to lend me the models that have not been released
