Mary Ellen,

Please don't type in all caps, it comes across as shouting online. Also, it's not the easiest on the eyes. Bolt wasn't released yesterday, there were other version of the beta that were released a few months ago. A new beta version was released. There are other threads on this topic.

Smile which emulation mode should I use for my BB curve 8330?

Hello friends, can anyone of you suggest which one of the emulation Mode I should select for the browser configuration? In the browser, I clicked on options, then click on browser configuration, then emulation mode;; which ones do I select:
Blackberry
Open Wave (WAV)
OpenWaveGateway
Microsoft IE
MS Pocket IE
Netscape

I have the Blackberry Curve 8330 with OS version 4.5xxx
Thank you for any help!
what does "emulation mode" mean anyway???

I see and completely understand your point and where you're coming from. However, it's not very good forum etiquette. Here is a thread with some tips of forum etiquette. No worries.

Sure.

Go into your Media application, then click on Videos. In the Videos area, click My Videos. You should see it listed there. Then Menu > Delete.

Kathryn, sorry to bother you again, but I suddenly noticed your os version ends with a 188 and mine ends with 131 . I was wondering if you can tell me how I can get this upgraded version to 188? Many thanks in advance!

You probably want to choose BlackBerry for the emulation mode. Setting it to BlackBerry will automatically re-direct you to mobile friendly sites.

Not sure about the others.
But your probably better off using the BB browser for mobile browsing and the Bolt browser for normal stuff.

I agree. I keep mine on Blackberry. I have occasionally set mine to Microsoft IE if I go to a site and it doesn't display the way I want it to (my bank).

Also, Mary Ellen, we have the same operating system. I put the package number instead of the OS number in my profile. Saves me time when a new thread appears with a new package number.
