Default Trackball backlight wont turn off

Please Login to Remove!

So a few days ago out of no where I noticed that the backlight on my trackball wasn't turning off. I went into the keyboard/screen settings, nothing changed. Even when I hold the end call button and turn off the phone, the trackball stays on. I've tried numerous battery pulls to no avail. Its completely killing my battery life. Is there any way to fix this sans a wipe/OS reinstall? I'm on a BES and its just a pain to get set back up on it. If it didn't murder my battery I wouldn't mind, but my battery is literally below 20% by 2pm with average daily use.

Thanks!

Try a battery pull. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling your os.

Wirelessly posted (8820 on WiFi)

That's strange; it the trackball on in direct bright light (I.e sunlight)? If it is then it would look like a possible light sensor issue.
