Angry Cingular EDGE/GPRS network problem?

Please Login to Remove!

Just checking if any of you Cingular EDGE/GPRS users experiencing network problems. On my side, it seems it keeps shifting between EDGE/edge/GSM connections several times a day. At some times it will take a LONG time to make a full connection from edge to EDGE.

I'm a 8700c user in the Washinton, DC Metro area.

Anyone know what's going on? Thanks in advance.

Does it help the situation if you remove the battery for 10 seconds and reinsert it.

Did what you recommended - it seemed to make the connection to the EDGE network a lot quicker than usual. Hope that did the trick!

Thanks D_Fisher for the tip!

Wirelessly posted (CrackBerry 8700: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I have been having the same issue for the past few days. Haven't tried the battery trick - just been turning off the wireless then back on - but willo try it now. Hope it works - its a real pain not having a solid connection all the time.
