how do you get rid of the entries in a phone log? I did a search and.....no love.
I have almost 3000 entries in it and need to get rid of them they are taking up all my space.

Scroll to the date you want to start deleting from, click the wheel, and select "Delete prior"...

hit halfmoon key then P
this will bring up just the phone call log.
then you can click and delete prior

I delete the call and direct connect logs on a weekly basis. I have found that when I need to replace my BB it cuts down on the time to do EA.

Amen brother! A new activation takes about 5-10 minutes OTA where I work. I have seen actiavtions take 6+ hours simply due to the phone call log being so huge (8000+ entries).
