Default white screen ....(of death?)

Please Login to Remove!

So I have a pearl and such and every now and again when I press the side button for it to light up so I can unlock it, it will show a white screen for a few seconds. It happens rarely, but terrifies me all the same.
Is this normal?
Am I heading into troubled waters?
Any advice/knowledge you can share would be very much appreciated!

Is this the same device that was damaged previously? Did it get wet?

This is the worst advice I have ever heard. How is dropping your phone ever good for it? Repeatedly?

I can top that.

Preheat your oven to 450, place your device in the oven for no less than 45 minutes. It will be extremely hot, so remove with caution. To cool it off, throw it in the toilet and flush it a full 5 times.

Once cool, then stick it in the washing machine for a full cycle, then in the dryer on tumble dry. This will clean you device like brand new.

Okay, now that's the worst advice I've ever seen. You succeeded in topping the previous poster.

Cooking it in the oven is to only give it that nice bakery fresh smell right?
