Hi
After updating from BES 4.1.7 to BES 5.0.2, the BES is showing another MDS-CS.
I now have MDS-CS_1 and 2.
Initially the MDS Connection wouldnt work after the upgrade. I found a KB that advised to update the imgpath in the registry. It was pointing to MDS-CS_2, so I changed it back to MDS-CS_1 and the Browser started working again.
My question is; Do i need the extra MDS connection? if not, how do I get rid of it.
I have tried following this KB
KB19096-How to remove a BlackBerry MDS Connection Service instance or a BlackBerry MDS Integration Service instance from the BlackBerry Administration Service
but when I click on the "trashcan" icon to the right of the instance that I want to remove, it advises/warns I need to uninstall the "MDS CONNECTION SERVICE". Not sure that I should do that.
Any ideas?
