Hi everyone - new BB user, just switched from Treos over the last couple of years and still getting used to the BB. I'm having trouble with the DST change - I've made the time change on the phone, but when I sync with Missing Sync for BB it resets it to the old time. I'm using a MacBook Pro, if that helps anyone. Any suggestions?

I have no idea what the Apple OS had to do for DST but it might be something to do with that. Did you goto blackberry.com/dst2007 ? and DL the DST patch for your 8703? Is the patch listed under Options/settings as "dst2007? If so, what is the status of the patch?

Hi ZeroKool, thanks for the reply. I'm going to put Parallels on my machine, which allows me to run Windows - God forbid - at the same time as Mac OS. The patch won't download because I'm not running Explorer on a Windows machine.

You dont have to load the patch via a wired connection. You can download it OTA at BlackBerry

Dumb question- when you all talk about downloading stuff like patches, are you doing it on your BB or your desktop and then synching your handheld?

Looks like I might be the village idiot. I NEVER gave any thought to attempting to dl the patch from the phone itself. Options tells me the patch is installed so we'll see how it does tomorrow when I sync. Thanks for your help guys.
