You know what doesn't make sense to me? RIM comes out with the 8100 as a 'Consumer'/suretype device. Doesn't it make more sense to have the 8800 be the 'Consumer'/Qwerty device since it looks like the 8100. Then, shouldn't the 8300 be the new 'Business'/Qwerty device since it looks like the 8700?

Did this make sense or have I had too many Moscow Mules (I use Ginger Ale and some Angostura Bitters instead of Ginger Beer) tonight?

Your question gave me a headache.

In a nutshell, the SureType devices are directed more towards the prosumer while the QWERTY devices are directed towards the business users. Both devices have the same capabilities so the end-user can use which ever one they like more. Nothing confusing about that at all.
