Lightbulb OS 6.0.0.344 User FeedBack - Other Users Post Up

Please Login to Remove!

Running it for about 2 days now. Friends running it from anywhere from 3-6 days old.

Works problem free on all 9700's so far.

- Bubbles for text is nice

- Much faster browser

- More user Friendly

- Much faster all around

- Wi-fi

- UMA works WAAAAY better than OS 5 .7 and .862 ( no need to turn wifi on and off to get UMA to work from network to network)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Would have liked to see a user adjustable graphic EQ for Music...... i guess presets for now
----------------------------------------------

No problems so far, will comment if any comes up.

I have a problem with some programs after update to OS 6.0.0.344 on Bold9700
Windows Live Messenger; Yahoo Messenger; Google Talk and ICQ
When I tray any one of them I receive this message "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointer Exception"

I am LOVING os6 on my 9700.

There are a few new features that are nice, but the UI tweaks and general speed-ups are most appreciated.

of course, there are still a few caveats with the BBOs as a whole.

the browser is amazing! the refreshed UI and the transitions and tweaks are quite nice...

Its worth the upgrade!

I've been using OS6 for the past five days, and so far I like it. I did have an issue with the browser once because I did not have enough memory to load the page. The browser is much better than OS5, but I feel that this is perhaps the only significant improvement. The rest of OS6 is more presentation and aesthetics. Fundamentally, aside from the browser improvement of 6.0, there is nothing 5.0 can't do.

Do any of you guys feel this way?

its buggy and not smooth in various parts. I'm getting freeze ups too. Some things are pretty gay, like I have to press the green phone icon before I dial a number or it does a search and a small sprited dial.

Even thought OS6 is "not" official it runs really smooth on my 9700 and I would say it's way better than my previous OS5. The issues with the applications were expected and so far only 2 from all what I have are not working properly. One is a game which really doesnt work at all, trackpad stops working when game starts. The other is a dictionary which is my most used app and its pity that the trackpad stops working with it too. If anyone have ideas that could be applied to make them work it would be more than welcome.

When I lock it with password it works but if I use the top lock key it doesn't neither. Maybe it's meant to lock all the keys so it should be normal. Never did it on previous OSs.

This meters never really worked for me on any mobile. Never trusted them but I did realize that when I'm charging the simbol on the battery used to desapear when it was full charge, now stays as long as it's plugged. Make me wonder if it is meant to be like this or is a minor bug indeed.
